About Us
These inspiring sisters create experiential, participatory, creative, reflective activites and rituals that foster personal growth.
For over twenty years Sisters Gloria Heese, RSM and Janel Sawatzki, RSM have worked as a team using scripture, poetry, fables, and song to bring awareness to the human spirit. They have worked in elementary and secondary education as teachers and administrators, and have worked as a team in the ministry of prayer and spirituality by presenting workshops, conducting retreats and writing creative prayers for large and small groups in parishes, healthcare institutions and religious congregations. Their BA degrees in music and education and MA degrees in Theology and Biology add sparkle and depth to their presentations.
Sister Janel
. . . uses stimulation writing that awakens imaginations and opens minds.
Drawing on experience as a naturalist and poet, she adapts existing works or writes original pieces so that they are suitable to the audience and venue and bring together the mind, body and spirit.
Sister Gloria
. . . uses creative movement that engages, inspires and motivates.
She enhances the written word by providing a visual focus through mime and dance. A student of Samuel Avital at Le Centre Du Silence in Boulder, Colorado, she reveals the power of words in the universal language of movement that connects our eyes to our minds and to our hearts.
